A Million Bucks!
I’m very excited for the next 2 weeks because the French Open will be taking place. I’m a huge tennis fan but never been a fan of the French Open because I am a Federer fan (and a Nadal non-fan) and for 9 of the last 10 years I’ve watched Rafa bite into the Coupe des Mousquetaires (the French open trophy) and inch closer to Federer’s record 17 Grand slam titles.
This year, for the first time in a decade, Rafa is not the overwhelming favorite to win the tournament, even though I think he has a very good chance of winning it. Even more exciting is the tantalizing potential quarter-final match-up between Novak and Rafa. I can’t wait.
Hahaaaa this may all be very confusing to you if you’re not a tennis fan so enough of the tennis talk. Let’s talk about today’s look.
Ehm hello…am I the only one who is absolutely in love with this dress. It’s probably my favorite dress of all time and I plan to get married in it! lol. I’m not even kidding. I feel like a million bucks whenever I wear it even though Zel says I only look like fifty bucks lol but what does she know? She’s only a medical doctor!Due to the “plain-ness” of this dress, the possibilities are endless! It has no patterns, no colors, nothing; so I can accessorize it any way I want…silver, gold, blue, purple, etc. This time I chose pink and gold, 2 of my 3 favorite colors (black is the 3rd).
I like to wear this dress with a sleek high bun. My hair WAS a sleek high bun when I walked out of the house but it wasn’t a tight one so by the time I took the pictures, it had fallen and frizzed out 🙁
Because my hair is so simple, I paired it with this hair accessory which is really pretty when worn right but i twisted it and wore it all tangled so you can’t really tell how pretty it is. lol I promise to wear it again the right way on another occasion.
This dress is one of my many reasons/motivations to stay in shape. It is VERY unforgiving but Iove it so much so I stay in shape so I can wear it whenever I want and feel confident when I do. I’m not saying you need to be a fitness model to wear bodycon dresses and I’m not saying I’m a fitness model. All I’m saying is, do what you need to do to be confident in whatever you wear.
Merci beaucoup (for reading) et au revoir!
