Hope you are all well. Thank you so much for the taking the time to read our blog. Sitting at home for a week was dangerous for my bank account because all I did was walk around the mall buying stuff I don’t need or would not be functional in my wardrobe. I think that is one of many draw backs of frequenting the mall.
Prior to starting medical school, there is a ceremony called a white coat ceremony where a faculty member places your white coat on you for the first time. I was a poor college graduate, with a very low budget. I think that is when my love for bargain shopping started.
I went to Ann Taylor and saw this dress (about 7 years ago). Oh, it was love at first sight and this dress has not let me down since then. The quality is beyond excellent and I have gotten my money’s worth and more. It was a little pricey but so worth it and ever so functional.
I think during the time in medical school, due to the limited funds, I wore it to every function. So literally for 4 years, for any important function, this was my go to dress, so you can only imagine how many times this dress appeared on Facebook on different dates (fashion faux pars).
Spring is all about pastels, and the beauty about pastels is that it is hard to get it wrong. Experiment as much as possible during this season. You may surprise yourself.
Have a blessed week.
