Winter Blues

Zelda & Imelda by Lindsey Borgman_-80Hi everyone, long time no see. The cold has got both me and Zel wanting to just stay home and hibernate. And honestly, with as cold as it is right now, most people do not really care about fashion; they’re more concerned with layering and staying warm.

Lindsey_Borgman-0967I love staying warm. I’m always all bundled up and usually when I get indoors, I take off layers and layers of clothes before I get to my actual outfit. So after taking off layers and layers, this is my outfit for the day.

Zelda & Imelda by Lindsey Borgman_-75It’s a simple sweater dress I got on sale at MACYS paired with a beautiful red sweater I acquired from Zelda’s closet :-). I paired it with some knee-high socks and my UGG boots to help keep me warm and accessorized with my favorite multi-purpose everyday cross body bag.

Zelda & Imelda by Lindsey Borgman_-77Once upon a time, this dress was a decent length, but I washed them and put them in the dryer and then they shrunk to shirt length. But I still wear it as a dress, usually with tights, or socks or something like that.

I love this bag (even though it doesn’t stay closed) so much because I can pair it with almost any outfit.

Zelda & Imelda by Lindsey Borgman_-76And the reason this bag is so versatile is the color scheme: black, nude, and gold details. The socks are also a nude color and allow it be paired with numerous outfits.

These are my favorite boots of all time and they were a gift from Zel. They are as comfortable as they look and so beautiful in my opinion. I absolutely love them!

Zelda & Imelda by Lindsey Borgman_-79I’m a huge fan of color but I can’t usually find winter clothes in colors; everything is usually so muted. What I can find however, are colored sweaters (even though this was Zelda’s find). So i usually pair my outfit with a colored sweater so I don’t look so drab.
