I hate mornings! 3 years of boarding school, four years of college and medical school could not cure me of this disease. With this in mind when looking for an outfit in the morning, I’m thinking of a quick and easy look that will take a minimum amount of time allowing me to sleep in longer.
My go to outfits are those that do not require ironing. In this look, I call the skirt a shake and go. I found this great piece whilst shopping the sale rack at White House Black Market. The lace peplum top also requires no preparation before it is worn. My blazers are usually kept steamed and arranged by color in my wardrobe and easy to pull even at 4am.
Shopping tips: the key to a decent and cheap wardrobe is to watch out for sales and maximize your dollars. Pick a couple of shops that you enjoy shopping at and make friends with the Sales personnel and with their help watch pieces that you would like to see in your wardrobe. If you find something beautiful in buy it, don’t worry so much about a complete look. Let the piece inspire you as you watch it in your closet.
Mornings are rough and really affect your style, pre-planning and choosing easy to pull together looks could be the difference between looking frazzled at the beginning of the day and looking pulled together.
